Questions
Asked before signing up
What is the difference between an invoice and a tax invoice?
A tax invoice is an invoice from a business registered for VAT or GST that shows its tax number and the tax charged, so the customer can claim it back. This generator adds both.
Which tax rate should I use?
The page suggests the standard rate for the country you are in. Rates change and some goods and services, such as accommodation, have their own rate — check with your tax office or accountant and type the right one.
My prices already include VAT. Does that work?
Yes. Tick Prices include tax and the generator works the tax out of the price instead of adding it on top.
Is it free?
Yes. No account, no limit. Save it in WStation if you want numbering, records and reports done for you.
