Is a receipt the same as a tax invoice in WStation?
Yes. When a guest pays, WStation issues a tax invoice — the document that proves payment and shows the tax. Many owners call it a receipt; it is numbered REC-….
Can I issue a receipt for a deposit?
Yes. Every payment — deposit, part payment or balance — gets its own receipt, and the invoice shows what is left.
Can I make a receipt without a booking?
Yes. Ring it up on the till, or create an invoice marked Paid now, and the receipt is written at once.
What if I made a mistake on a receipt?
Edit it within 7 days. After that it is corrected with a credit note and a replacement, so your records stay trustworthy.
