A till for the bar and shop, in the same books as the rooms

Sundowners, a bottle of wine at dinner, a curio on the way out. Ring it up on WStation's till from any phone or tablet: the sale is a tax invoice, the stock counts itself down, and the takings land in the same income and tax report as the rooms.

Quick at the counter

Tap the items, take the money, done. Cash, card, EFT or mobile money.

Stock that counts itself

Each sale takes the items off stock. Set a reorder level and see what's running low before Friday night.

No second set of books

Till takings are tax invoices like any other: in income, in the tax return, in the journal.

How it works

One stay, four names, zero retyping

Every guest is one record that changes its name as they go: asked for a price, said yes, stayed, paid. Each step is one press of a button.

  1. QuotationThey ask what it costs. Rooms, nights, guests and a deposit, priced in a minute.
  2. BookingThey say yes. One click, and the room is theirs on the calendar — nobody else can have it.
  3. InvoiceThey check out. The bill is raised from what was quoted, nothing typed twice.
  4. Tax invoiceThey pay. Part or all, by cash, card or transfer — the receipt is written and it is in the books.

In the till

Everything a small bar or shop needs

  • Products and services — with price, cost, SKU, category and unit
  • Stock and reorder levels — low stock flagged before you run out
  • Separate tax classes — standard, accommodation or exempt per item
  • Tills and shifts — open with a float, close with a cash count — over/short worked out
  • Pay-outs — petty cash from the drawer, recorded as an expense on the shift
  • Tillers — staff who use the till without seeing the rest of the books

Questions

Asked before signing up

Can I charge bar drinks to a guest's room?

Add them to the guest's stay as extra lines and they go on the invoice at checkout — or ring them up on the till if the guest pays as they go.

Does it work with a card machine?

WStation records card payments; the card machine you already have takes the money. There is no direct card-machine connection.

Can I print a till slip?

Yes. Each sale is a tax invoice you can print or send.

Is the till free?

Yes, it is part of WStation.
