These terms cover your use of WStation. By creating an account, or by using the demo without one, you agree to them.

The service

WStation is a tool for keeping the records of a small business — customers, quotations, invoices, bookings, stock, income and expenses. It is provided as it stands. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn as the product develops.

Your account and your business

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself and choosing carefully who you invite into a business. Anyone you invite as an owner or admin can see and change everything in that business, including its money.

Each business is separate. You can only see a business you have been made a member of, and your records are never mixed with another customer's.

Your records are yours

Everything you enter belongs to you. You can export a copy of a business's records at any time from Settings, and you can delete records yourself at any time. Nothing you enter is sold, and nothing you enter is used to advertise to you or to anyone else.

Using it properly

Please do not use WStation to:

• break the law, or help anyone else to;
• store records you have no right to hold, including other people's personal information;
• issue documents intended to mislead — false invoices, receipts for sales that did not happen;
• attempt to reach another customer's data, or to probe, overload or interfere with the service.

An account used for any of these may be suspended or closed.

Availability

Reasonable effort goes into keeping WStation running, but no uptime is guaranteed. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, or because something it depends on has failed. Keep your own exports if continuous access to your records matters to you.

What this is not

WStation calculates figures from what you type into it. It is not an accountant, a tax adviser or a lawyer, and no figure it shows is advice. See the disclaimer.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, WStation is not liable for lost profit, lost business, lost data, or any indirect loss arising from your use of it, or from being unable to use it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending it

You may stop using WStation at any time and delete your records. These terms may be updated as the product changes; material changes will be shown in the app rather than made quietly.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Namibia, and the courts of Namibia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
